Use images 1080 pixels wide. Square posts are 1080 x 1080 (1:1), portrait posts 1080 x 1350 (4:5) and landscape posts 1080 x 566 (1.91:1). Stories and Reels are 1080 x 1920 (9:16). The profile grid shows posts as 3:4 tiles, which a 1080 x 1440 image fills exactly, and a profile photo is 320 x 320, shown as a circle. This tool makes all six sizes at exactly those dimensions.

Choose your photo, pick a format, then drag and zoom to crop it, or switch to Fit whole photo to keep all of it. Press Download. The image is drawn from your original file at full resolution and saved at exactly the size Instagram displays, so Instagram does not need to resize it again. JPG is saved at 95% quality by default; PNG and WebP are in More options.

Yes. Choose Fit whole photo and pick a background: a blurred copy of your photo, white, black, any color (with a color picker, a hex code or colors taken from your photo), or a two-color gradient in five directions. You can still drag the photo and zoom it inside the frame.

1080 x 1920 pixels, a 9:16 ratio. Instagram covers the top of a Story with the profile name and the bottom with the reply bar and buttons, so keep faces and text out of about the top 250 and bottom 340 pixels. Story safe zones in More options shows those areas on your photo.

Yes. Choose, drop or paste up to 20 photos. Each keeps its own crop, and Download all photos saves every one in the chosen format as a single ZIP file. Instagram crops all slides of a carousel to the shape of the first one, so use the same format for all of them.

No. Your photos are opened and resized in your browser and never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and there is no sign-up.
